We would like to let you know that the Fred Endert Municipal Swimming Pool will be extending the temporary closure that started Monday, May 29th for slide maintenance. We are hoping to reopen by Thursday June 8th for the normal schedule. During this time, the City will keep the facility closed until the maintenance is done. During this time we will also be working to have a ADA friendly Sauna! We will keep the public notified via our website, crescentcity.org, and Facebook pages, Crescent City CA – City Hall and Fred Endert Pool. We appreciate your understanding and continued membership during this transition. All passes will be given an extension.
Though the pool will still be closed, we will be opening the front lobby for guests to sign up for the Del Norte Healthcare District sponsored low-income senior (64+) pass registration starting June 5th at 6 AM. We are pleased to announce that the Healthcare District will now be sponsoring 35 spots.
The pool will be closed for the following dates and times for private rentals; Friday June 9th time: TBD ASAP, Monday June 12th 9-11 AM, Wednesday June 14th 9-11 AM.
The pool will have 4 different summer schedules that will be physically available by June 12th. Now you may be saying, "WOAH, 4 schedules! That is bananas!" Keep in mind that school will be out and being the only year-round public swimming pool in our beloved city we are trying to engage in more youth programs from Expanded Learning to Jr. Lifeguard lessons and more. These changes will be in place for 2 months (July and August)
