TITLE VI NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC 

The City of Crescent City operates its programs and services in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related acts and statutes (Title VI). Title VI and related statutes prohibiting discrimination in federally-assisted programs require that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal assistance.   For information on the City’s Title VI Implementation Plan, please call the City’s Title VI Coordinator, Robin Altman, at (707) 464-7483 ext. 223 or click on the links on the left side of this page.

Any person who believes they have been unlawfully discriminated against with regard to City programs or activities has the right to file a complaint within 180 days of the alleged incident. Complaint forms are available from the Title VI Coordinator and on the menu on the left side of this page.

A complaint may also be directly filed with the appropriate State or Federal Agency providing financial assistance.
